PHILADELPHIA – Arena Insider/Soul Insider has learned that the Philadelphia Soul are currently discussing with Atlantic City to play a few games at Board Walk Hall next season, Anthony Carter reports.
According to the Press Of Atlantic City, Atlantic City’s mayor – Don Guardian has been in talks with Soul co-owner Ron Jaworski and he says that the talks so far have been “very positive.”
Soul GM Tom Goodhines told Arena Insider that talks are still going on and think it will be beneficial to both the Philadelphia Soul franchise and the state of New Jersey.
“Why not?” Goodhines said on having games played at BoardWalk Hall. “It’s a unique opportunity and chance to help boost the economy for Atlantic City.”
Anthony Carter reports that there will likely be two games to be played at BoardWalk Hall that may even include the Soul’s season opener against the league’s newest expansion team – Las Vegas Outlaws. If a deal is reached, the league office will arrange for the game to be nationally televised.
