According to ArenaFootball.com, the Philadelphia Soul have further boosted its offensive line depth with the addition of Second Team All-Arena center Shannon Breen. The team announced that they have agreed to a one-year deal with the former Cleveland Gladiators center.
The 25-year old Breen played 34 games at center for the Gladiators over the last two seasons and was named to the All-Arena Second Team following Cleveland’s spectacular 2014 campaign.
The departures of Soul offensive linemen Wayne Tribue (free agent) and Jason Holman (signed with Sharks) left a void on the front line for Philadelphia. The addition of three-year veteran offensive lineman Breen, who has been very consistent over his AFL career thus far, will help with protecting the newly re-signed veteran QB Dan Raudabaugh this season as head coach Clint Dolezel hopes to lead this Soul squad back to the postseason in 2015.
