Tampa Bay Storm Press Release
Moore (6-6, 325, Florida) enters his rookie season in the Arena Football League with the Storm. The Countryside High School (Clearwater, FL) product played collegiately at the University of Nebraska, starting four-of-nine games as a freshman before transferring to the University of Florida where he started 14-of-19 games played for the Gators.
“Tyler is a big body that will be able to help us make plays on the offensive side of the ball,” said Storm vice president of football operations Jeff Gooch. “Protecting the quarterback is a top priority for this team, and we believe that Tyler will be able to step in and make an impact.”
Coming out of high School, Moore was rated as one of the top offensive line products in the country. He helped lead the Cougars to a 12-1 record and a trip to the regional finals in his senior season.
To make room on the roster for Moore, the Storm have placed offensive lineman Garrison Ushery on reassignment.
