L.J. Castile Activated By LA Kiss

ANAHEIM, Calif. – The LA KISS have activated wide receiver L.J. Castile, the League office announced today.

Castile (6-3, 225, Delta State) enters his fifth season in the AFL and second with the KISS. He suited up in one game for the team last year after being acquired in a midseason trade with the New Orleans VooDoo. For his career, he has hauled in 231 passes for 2,924 yards and 71 touchdowns. He has spent the last several months in the Canadian Football League with the Ottawa Redblacks.

Before turning pro, Castile was a three-year letterman at the University of Houston before finishing out his collegiate career at Delta State. He caught 60 passes for 854 yards and 16 touchdowns during his Cougar career. As a senior, he helped lead Delta State to the Division II National Championship Game, spearheading the program’s receiving effort with 67 catches for 900 yards and 13 touchdowns.
