PHILADELPHIA – The Philadelphia Soul have clinched home field advantage for the 2015 playoffs following a 72-56 win over the Cleveland Gladiators in front of 8,784
Soul WR Harvey Binford led the team with a career high 4 touchdowns off of 7 receptions and 145 yards.
Putting the ball in Binford’s hands was MVP candidate QB Dan Raudabaugh who showed no signs of rust after the league wide bye week by going 20/27 throwing 306 yards and 7 touchdowns.
As for Cleveland, QB Shane Austin struggled while being under pressure the entire game. The Soul’s 2nd ranked defense in the AFL forced Austin to complete 16 out of his 35 drop backs and two turnovers.
