NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Arena Football One announced a partnership to recruit aspiring arena football players.

AF1 is working with the National Scouting Combine for a showcase from February 5 – 8 in Naples, Florida. Officials say it will allow athletes to be evaluated, coached and scouted by teams.

“The National Scouting Combine has a proven track record for helping teams and leagues identify players looking for an opportunity,” Gary Compton, AF1 Director of Player Personnel, said in the December 23, 2024 press release. “This partnership with [NSC] will elevate our scouting and talent base and increase the on-field product our fans will enjoy every week.”

AF1 stated players will also receive athletic performance data to improve their game.

“This is an opportunity for the National Scouting Combine to help AF1 put the best athletic talent on the field week after week,” Jimmy Kibble, President & CEO of Beyond Sports, LLC which is the parent company of NSC, said. “Our team will work closely with team personnel to identify, track, and evaluate athletes using our proprietary analysis and reporting.”
