Broadcast Updates: Arena Football League to use VyreTV to show games beginning week one
2 min readPHILADELPHIA — The Arena Football League announced it partnered with Vyre TV to broadcast games beginning this weekend.
AFL officials shared the announcement on its social media channels Saturday afternoon. The decision comes days after three week one games were removed from NFL Network over communication and equipment issues.
The league also rolled out its new streaming service, Arena Football LIVE, that initially showed six matchups but was later trimmed to three – Iowa Rampage against Rapid City Marshals, Wichita Regulators against the Billings Outlaws and the Washington Wolfpack against the Oregon Blackbears.
Games that will not be televised according to the league’s announcement include; the Philadelphia Soul against Louisiana Voodoo and the Minnesota Myth against Nashville Kats.
Currently, fans can watch games through Vyre, Arena Football LIVE, and GRAY television markets. Vyre’s services including its app is free.
