Nashville Kats announce new member of ownership group
1 min readThe Nashville Kats is expanding its ownership group and named a new chairman ahead of the 2024 season.
Nashville Arena Sports, the ownership group of the Kats, announced Chuck McDowell as its newest partner and chairman. According to a team official, McDowell is currently the largest individual stakeholder in the Kats.
“The Nashville Kats organization is thrilled to welcome Chuck McDowell, a pillar of the Nashville community and visionary businessman,” Tamara Dadd Alan, founding partner and CEO said. “His enthusiasm for the sport and commitment to the community are in perfect alignment with our franchise’s core principles and values.”
McDowell is the founder and CEO of Wesley Financial Group and chairman of Wesley, LLC. He joins other partners including Alan, Jeff Fisher, Nancy Eckert and Greg Pogue.
“With our great team in place and the continued growth of Middle Tennessee, I believe the Kats are well positioned for long term success,” McDowell said. “We are certainly going to have fun along the way.”
The Kats will open their regular season at home versus the Minnesota Myth on April 27.
